Shazia Rahman

Shazia Rahman is Professor of English at Western Illinois University. Her research is at the intersections of postcolonial studies and ecocriticism. She is particularly interested in the ways in which the fiction and film of Pakistani women explores alternative, environmental ways of belonging, beyond religious nationalism. Her work has appeared in a number of journals including the Journal of Postcolonial Writing, Environmental Communication, ISLE, ARIEL, and LIT.
