Ximena Gallardo C.

 

Ximena Gallardo C. is an Assistant Professor of English at the City University of New York-LaGuardia. Her first book, Alien Woman: The Making of Lt. Ellen Ripley (Continuum, 2004) was awarded the Ray and Pat Browne Award by the Popular Culture Association. She is currently working on a book-length study of women and gender in science fiction cinema.
