Graham Barnfield is programme leader in journalism at the University of East London. His research interests include the US cultural politics of the inter-war years, and the ethics of objectivity in documentary reporting. This led to articles on reality television and more recent work on the 'happy slapping' panic.
Graham makes frequent appearances as a TV and radio pundit and is involved in the online resource MagLab: Magazines Under the Microscope [www.maglab.org] and is a fellow of the Wolfsonian-FIU.
